Add File Attachments Without Creating Record First

In the Dataverse table, I have created a column named "File Attachment" with the data type set to File. Currently, users can only attach documents after the record has been created.

Is there any way to bypass this limitation—i.e., to allow the attachment option to be available before the record is created?

Also, I do not want to use Power Pages for the form's attachment functionality because that stores attachments in the Notes table. I’m using the File data type so that the attachment is saved directly in the main table, making it easier for users to view the file at any time.

Add File Attachments Without Creating Record First
    Hi Asutosh,

You can do it using custom HTML + JS to call the Web Api endpoint, creating the record first, then attaching the file to the field.
See an example on this article by Franco Musso and related question in the forum.

    I hope it helps!!
