iOS 26.6 barcode scanner not working

I have a canvas app with the Barcode Reader control that has been working fine for months. After updating my iPhone to iOS 26.6, the barcode scanner inside the app no longer detects/reads any barcodes.

Troubleshooting already done:

Confirmed camera permission is granted to Power Apps

Restarted the device and toggled the camera permission off/on

Fully uninstalled and reinstalled the Power Apps mobile app (latest version from App Store)

Confirmed the phone's native Camera app scans the same barcodes without any issue

This points to a compatibility issue between the Barcode Reader control's native scanning integration and iOS 26.6, rather than a permissions or app-version problem on my end.

Device: iPhone, iOS 26.6

App: Power Apps mobile, latest version from App Store

Control: Barcode Reader (Scanning quality: Automatic)

I can confirm that since recent versions of PowerApps deployed, the Barcode Reader control is no longer working properly on our iPads.

Tested on iPadOS versions 18, 25, 26.

Changing the "authoring version" of the app does not change the app version. We have no way to rollback to prior app versions. This is actually very impactful to our business near-term.

I just did a quick test on my end with iOS 26.5.2 and Power Apps version 3.26, and the Barcode Reader is still working without any issues.

However, can you confirm which barcode type you have selected for the Barcode Reader control?
