I am attempting to connect to a SFTP folder. I was able to connect using Filezilla, so I know it works
I have converted the putty private key to Open SSH so it starts with Begin RSA private key. Ive disabled host key validation. Still getting an error that I cant connect, and it is saying invalid private key file.
For what its worth, the owner of the SFTP tells me they can see me logging in.
Sent me this message:
Hi,
From the logs it looks as though the sftp tool is attempting a connection other that SFTP. Our servers are locked to SFTP only.
error: … refusing non-sftp session [postauth] → The client opened a non-SFTP session (shell/pty/exec/scp-style) which is not allowed for this user.
Any insight here? I am at a loss of what to do. I know the keys work, with the connection via Filezilla. They say they see me logging in and is failing post auth
