We have a scenario from a client who wants to see the on hand inventory as virtual table from F&SCM in the Power Pages so their customers could see the inventory using the portal. They would also like to create/update Inbound and Outbound shipment orders in WMS from the portal.
We want to get clarity on the licensing need for these requirement. Since you need to have an F&SCM license if you want to see virtual table data in PowerApps but they want to use Power Pages for external customers which will still authenticate on the Power Pages but do not belong to the customer tenant.
I was looking at this document from Microsoft and it states the difference between Anonymous and Authenticated users on the Power Pages but it doesn't clearly state the licensing need or what will happen if the logged in user on Power Pages is from external tenant?
I really cannot stress the importance of asking Microsoft directly. Licensing questions are tough as no matter what we say, if its wrong, microsoft isn't going to listen to "well Michael on the forums, who doesn't work for you, and is a volunteer told me".
For your only mental and financial safety talk to microsoft directly. Your tam/pam/cat/fasttrack/account/anyone or just open a ticket.
