Hello everyone,

We are in the process of developing a portal using Power Pages that requires a secure file storage solution accessible by external users.

We are currently weighing our options between using SharePoint Online and SharePoint Embedded for this purpose.

Our main goal is to choose the best option in terms of security, user experience, and scalability.

Based on your experience, what would you recommend? What are the most significant differences, advantages, and disadvantages of each in this specific scenario?

Comparing SharePoint Online vs. SharePoint Embedded for Power Pages

For me the solution is still SharePoint. The reason being is that Dataverse and SharePoint integration is OOB and enables you a better integration directly to Dataverse, which is the backend for Power Pages.

To me, I look at the holistic implementation and using the OOB functionality is a better usage (imho) in this instance.
