I am trying to create a simple action management application and looking to add a filter to search the actions by its source. Having set up the back end list on SP i created a Power App for this. Within the Power App i have a browse screen where i added a gallery and drop down to search the actions by it's source.
However despite trying everything it turns out that the Source column when adding to the screen in power app changes to a text column rather than a choice and therefore does not work correctly.
I have tried setting up new lists with choices to add to a blank power app and the choice fields change in Power App to text columns. Has anyone encountered this issue and if so hopw did you resolve it?
