Seeking Career Advice and Power BI Opportunities in UAE

Hello everyone,

I recently completed the Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification and joined this community.

I am currently restarting my career after a career break and actively seeking Data Analyst, Power BI Developer, or Business Intelligence opportunities in the UAE, preferably Abu Dhabi.I have been building Power BI dashboards and working with Power Query, DAX, data modeling, and KPI reporting.

I would appreciate any guidance on networking, job opportunities, returnship programs, recruiter contacts, or recommendations that could help me enter the Data Analytics field.

Congratulations on earning your PL-300 certification and welcome to the community!
One thing that seems to help many people after a career break is building a small portfolio with real-world dashboards instead of relying only on the certification. Even 3-5 projects that demonstrate data cleaning, DAX, Power Query, and business reporting can make a strong impression during interviews.
I'd also recommend staying active on LinkedIn, connecting with recruiters who specialize in data and BI roles in the UAE, and participating in local Microsoft and Power Platform community events whenever possible. Networking often opens opportunities that never get advertised.
