Hello,

is it possible to create an Opportunities from a canvas app without specifying the 'Account' info?

Thing is i see 'Account' as Compulsory field in the Opportunities table.

hello

i dont really understand your question. if you want to create a new opportunity you need to have a datasource in the back where u store your entries. if it is the Accounts table you are using, then you also need to connect this to the app.

Yes its required, you would have to manually change it and I do not recommend it, but the field is required.

Create an opportunity for a contact

The opportunity table is a standard Dataverse/Dynamics table and I wouldn't recommend changing it.

A record must be associated with an Account/Contact (the field is polymorphic)

The documentation for the opportunity table below clarifies this:
