I wanted to link Multiple accounts to a Contact, and when we login to portal using the contact it needs to fetch the linked account details.

I tried by creating custom relationship between Account and Contact but it didn't allow me to link multiple account to a contact, Anyway to achieve this .As a portal user I should be able to pick both the Accounts data.

When you say relate the Contact and Account is this in Model Driven App or from Power Pages?

If in Model Driven App, it sounds like you may be trying to use the out of the box Company Name (parent account) field on the Contact which is a one-to-many. For your Many-to-many relationship you need to add a new Subgrid to the Contact (and also may want a subgrid on Account if you want to see/add the contacts from the Account side of the new relationship).

You need to establish an appropriate relationship in dataverse e.g. many-to-many between Contact and Account tables.

Create a Table Permission for the new relationship between Contact and Account (scope will be contact or parent/child)
Add the new Table Permission to the Web Role that the portal user is using.

Create a Web Page with a List of Accounts, with the appropriate table permissions this should display the list of accounts for the Contact (portal user)

    Hi

    🔹 Use a Custom Many-to-Many (N:N) Relationship

    • Create a custom relationship between Contact and Account.
      • Table 1: Contact
      • Table 2: Account
      • Relationship type: Many-to-Many
    • In the Contact form in Dataverse, you can now add multiple Accounts.

Is this a D365 question or a Graph API question?
