I have built the checkout screen and added tables but when I go to play my app there are no student names in the drop down. See screen shots. I am stuck and don't know how to move forward with out these.

Ok Gemini helped me solve the issue. In my case, I had to remove the table "Contact", which the "Loan" table is referring to for Information about Students and readd the table as data source.

Hi @MP-30011345-0

I don't seem to be able to see the error message in your latest screenshot - the link opens the same document as your original attachment.

Without seeing the screenshot/context of the error, I wouldn't be able to suggest how to fix it. Would you be able to post the image inline instead?

The next step I would try is to return to the solution and to republish it by clicking the 'publish all customisations' button.

In the app, if the data still doesn't appear, I'd try going to the data pane of the app designer and refreshing the tables/data sources.

I added another screen shot...it looks to me like everything is set up correctly but I still do not see names or books. There is an error message (see screen shot) when I right click on that message it says: What is the parent. error? And how do I fix this? Is this the reason for the names not showing? I seem to be spending too much time on this and can't move forward.

I figured out the issue... when the tables were imported the fields were not named correctly. This cohort is the first cohort to use the revised curriculum, so this issue has probably not been caught.

See below...

- select the "select a student" drop down

- go to advanced

- go to Items

- Change 'pu_Student' to 'Student'

Repeat for Book Copy

Hi @MP-30011345-0

As @SamFawzi-SmartSolutions correctly suggests, selecting or re-selecting Full Name as the primary text should resolve this.

Please review the Dropdown/Combo box settings and ensure the necessary fields are selected. Refer to the screenshot below for guidance.
