Hi Girish — short answer in two parts:
On a Teams channel:
— No, the Power Platform Community doesn't run an official Microsoft
Teams channel the way some other Microsoft communities do. This
forum (community.powerplatform.com) is the official discussion
hub.
— There are some community-run Teams / Discord groups that MVPs and
user-group leaders host independently, but nothing Microsoft-
official.
On free certification vouchers, there are a few real options:
Step 1 — Power Up Program (the best fit for most people).
aka.ms/PowerUpProgram — a free Microsoft programme aimed at people
moving into Power Platform careers. Completion gets you a free
PL-900 exam voucher.
Step 2 — Microsoft Learn Cloud Skills Challenge.
Microsoft runs these challenges a few times a year. Completing the
relevant learning paths in the window typically gets you a 50%
discount voucher (sometimes a free one for some exams). Watch
the Microsoft Learn blog and the Power Platform community
announcements for the next round.
Step 3 — Microsoft Power Platform Conference (MPPC) and Microsoft
Ignite.
Attendees of these events have historically received exam vouchers
in their welcome pack.
Step 4 — Microsoft Reactor events / Power Platform community calls.
Some live sessions hand out vouchers as raffles or completion
rewards. Worth following @MSFTReactor and your local Power
Platform user group.
Step 5 — Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors (if you're a student).
Provides multiple Microsoft exam vouchers as part of the
programme.
Step 6 — Your employer's Microsoft Partner / Customer benefits.
If you work somewhere with a Microsoft Solutions Partner status or
an Enterprise Agreement, your IT or learning-and-development team
often has a voucher pool — worth asking internally.
Hope that helps you find the right path.
