When trying to declare a Named Formula in App → Formulas using the syntax shown in Microsoft docs and tutorials :

MyVar = "var"

or

MyTable = Table(
{ Name: "John", Age: 30 },
{ Name: "Jane", Age: 25 }
)

Power Apps displays the error: Caractères inattendus. Des caractères sont utilisés dans la formule de manière inattendue.

Power Apps Named Formulas – Unexpected characters error when declaring text or table constants

By adding a semicolon or coma(depending on your tenant location) at the end of each formula declaration, you're telling Power Apps where one formula ends and the next begins. This is similar to how you would separate statements in other programming languages.
