Hey guys,

I was curious if anyone else has been able to integrate Fabric into their agents successfully?

I do see that Fabric as an advanced tool is "Coming soon", but I tried the work around following this: Consume a data agent in Microsoft Copilot Studio (preview) - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn

But it doesn't seem to work and it even states: The ability to use the custom agent with connected Fabric data agent isn't currently supported in Microsoft 365 Copilot.

However, I don't want that stopping me from being able to have my agent read data from our DataLake.

Any help, ideas, thoughts would be appreciated.

Fabric Data Agent MCP

Currently you need to create a M365 Copilot Agent and then have that one talk to a Fabric Data Agent. Allegedly there is work being done to remove that restriction.
