I have created a New Hire Welcome Email Agent.  I am trying to test the trigger, but it does not send the email.  Any suggestions?

Can somebody please help me with this or just comment if my assumptions are wrong?

    Trigger Testing

Hi, thanks for the below response.  Below is some more information as to what I am trying to do.

Below are my instructions, knowledge and flow

    Below is my Trigger

    Sharepoint site...

    Knowledge excel sheet...

Testing my Trigger using the last entry...

    Result of the test...

I should receive an email in the inbox of the email address... is that the correct assumption?

    A couple of things

Based on what I am looking at, you have a trigger for when an item is created in SharePoint, but the flow you are showing us is a Topic.

So are you trying to do just a Send Email from the Topic or are you expecting to send an Email when an Item is created in SharePoint?

You stated trigger, but the activities themselves are not the trigger.

To test, you would need to create an item in SharePoint first.

Can you share your Triggers (as in the overview page) what is there.
Can you then click the ... and say Open in Power Automate. Let's see what you are doing.

You can also simply go to powerautomate.com
login and select the right environment

Open the Flow up and first look at the details page, to see if any triggers have even happened.
From there, you can click Edit on the flow. Then click Test, manual style and just keep clicking Test/Start until it does (its way too many clicks lol).. Then go create an item in that SharePoint. You should see the flow trigger immediately and run

If that works then go back into your agent. You can then go to the Overview page. You can go to your Trigger and click the Test button and it will list the one you just did directly in Power Automate. You can re-run it to validate it does what you want.

Then if its as simple as, you haven't created any items IN the sharepoint list that is part of the Trigger, than go do that and it will :-) trigger your copilot

if you are trying to do this in a Topic, with a custom trigger there, please share the Topic itself.

If these suggestions help resolve your issue, Please consider Marking the answer as such and also maybe a like.

    Thank you!
    Sincerely, Michael Gernaey

Can you show us how you configured the triggers?
