Hi,

I have a copilot studio agent which triggers a PA flow on recieveing a new email.

PA gets the email via When a new email arrives in a shared email (v2)
Cleans it up using Html to Text
Sends that cleaned Text to Execute Agent and Wait
Execute Agent and Wait is doing its stuff (In copilot studio agent instructions i've asked it to do a json output, which it does fine when testing) but it doesn't returns that json back to the PA flow and lastResponse is always empty.
How to get the (json) response that is generated by the agent back into PA , so rest of the PA flow can continue ?

Just due to this one thing, whole thing is not working.

Any tips or guidance is welcomed.

Nice done :)

For the next step you have two option

-> Dynamic way (much elegant) : In the tool part of copilot studio, clic add, select the PA you want, in the detail describe all input with title, description, sample : so one will be with a description about having a JSON -> this way CS will select automaticly the tool with description and input matching and select automatically the content and the PA. CS will choose based on title of the title, description, title+description of the input in the tool and use it auto.

->deterministic way with a custom topic if you don't want CS to decide when and how to send JSON to PA (but need more advanced use of copilot studio) :

Create a topic with a description matching what you want to do when a mail come : in the topic use the "advanced box -> generative answer" go to option of this one, uncheck send the answer to the tchat, check store into a variable the result of AI, then select the PA you have from the menu "tool" and select the PA you want.
