Hello,
I have been using MS Automate to automate a workflow to populate a MS Word Template (using titled plain and rich text content controls) by drawing data and values from an Excel Table. I am on a Premium Plan using this OneDrive for Business account.
I have been trialling this for the past three weeks and MS Word just doesn’t seem to interpret the expressions, rather pastes them in as plain text. I am out of troubleshooting ideas and would really appreciate your assistance to point out where I am going wrong.
I have added in additional compose actions prior to populating the MS Word template to try and debug this issue, but it has not worked. I have also removed any additional spaces, triple checked matching titles for content control and used CoPilot and ChatGPT to troubleshoot other factors.
I have attached the commands intended to be carried out in the workflow:
Replace TodaysDate in several places in the document
Replace InstallWeekNo with the number (i.e. 01) from this column’s rows.
Replace SixMonthsFromToday in two places.
Replace StoreInfoList with the rows of 3 separate columns (StoreNo, StoreName and InstallDate) and join the variables.
Replace StoreAddresses with the rows of 3 separate columns (StoreNo, StoreName and PostCode) and join the variables.
Replace StartDate with the first row value of the column InstallDate.
Replace FinishDate with the day after the last row of the column InstallDate (I created the action LastDate to extract the last row of the column InstallDate first).
