Copilot no longer takes my Confluence knowledge data source

Hi folks.

Just came back from holidays, my bot was working perfectly fine during my trials before that, and when prompting for something from my Confluence data source, it worked wonder and displayed whatever I wanted with accuracy.

However, it doesn't work anymore. I've got this particular error when disabling the AI generated content :

"AuthoringCanvas:AuthoringCanvasResources.TestChat.failureScenarioOptions.noSearchResultsText"

When using the AI generated content, it just hallucinates and generates some random bullshit. It doesn't go anymore to my data source.

The connector works well :

I wonder what could've changed from the last 2 weeks.

I already changed the OAUTH2 creds for the connector, and checked permissions with Index browser, to no avail.

    Hi, 
     
    looks like testing the Agents works fine again. 
     
    I'm not sure if the Test really gets back Confluence content.. in live deployment ( Teams App ) the agents answering with Confluence content again.

    @NoInfra4You thanks for the answer... we're using Confluence on Prem.. so i think it will not work that easy... 
     
    I opened a ticket bei MSFT.. they are into it.. so let's wait.. Whenever I have some news I keep you updated

    @DA-04070757-0 Confluence Cloud. For REST API, you create a flow with Power Automate. The trigger is user prompt from Copilot Studio. Then you generate a token associated with an account who has access to the wished space, and you make a GET request on either the name of the page or the content. You then make a loop (Apply to each) with a variable to look for your page in your body, returned by the HTTP connector previously. You store that in a variable, and your return it to the user basically, with a link to the article that you probably can retrieve from the body output too.
     
    You can develop it way more, I'm not a developer, and it is pretty basic, it is just making a search, it does not generate any answer. However, you could also store the content of the page from your request, set it as a variable, export if from the flow as an output and let Copilot analyze it and make a generative answer from it. (Don't know if that is possible really, didn't think through it that much)
     
    Or you could just try to contact Microsoft and hope for the best. Still, try playing with that "General Knowledge" stuff, and try asking for a very specific page name and see how it behaves.

    @ do you use Confluence Cloud or Confluence on Prem? 
    How did you solved it with RESTAPI?

    @DA-04070757-0 Yes and no. It works for Confluence, however it does non-sense for another source of knowledge (Microsoft Support website) : throwing the same error, picking data from my Confluence even though I told him to stick to the Microsoft Support website...
     
    Something is clearly broken here. Before finding that, I was going to use REST API to make a basic search in Confluence, maybe you could try that even though it's not going to be exactly the same, but that is still a workaround.

    turning on "General usage" and yes it generates answers.. but this answers not correct and have nothing to do with the content in confluence... 
    Do you experience the same? 
     
    After I turned off the General knowledge, I do also receive the error again. 
     
     
    It's really annoying...

    Tried again this morning, but this time I checked (again) "Use general knowledge" in the generative answer setting, and it does work. If you uncheck it, it doesn't work anymore. The problem seems to happen to more and more people.
     
    Try turning on that feature and let me know.

    @DA-04070757-0 Seems like it just doesn't work with Copilot here. Connector is up and running. It's really a shame that a main feature doesn't even work, guess I'm going to use REST API meanwhile with a workaround. Microsoft doesn't even flinch.

    the indexing part in the M365 Admin Center works. I can see indexed items... and also can search for PageIds in the Index Browser. 
     
     
    Thats crazy... PnP doesn't work for me anymore... Can you send me a screenshot of your configurations in PnP
    Edit: Works now also for me with PnP... Will double check tomorrow...
