Can I disable tooltips for the formula bar?

Hello all,
 
I've run into a (recent) issue where a tooltip keeps popping up when hovering over the formula bar. This makes it incredibly aggravating to see what the actual issue is most of the time. Is there way to turn this off? I understand it might have to be a browser level change, which would be preferable to this situation.

    Tooltip is enabled for all menu options. Doesn't look as if there is a way to currently turn it off, let's see if they add it as an option.
