I'm working through the final challenge and when I'm creating the View in Active Parking Inspections, I go into the Related table to find ParkingRequestDateTime, it is not showing up.  I've got the column created in the Parking Request table

There should be only one relationship to the Parking Request table, established through the a lookup data type (The relationship will be created automatically). This will allow you to access related columns from the parent table (Parking Request).

Thank you, w.p.! I tried that as well, but the related table column field ParkingRequestDateTime appears—just without any data inside.

Any additional thoughts on what might be causing this? I’ve attached a compressed zip file containing screenshots of the configuration setups and output results. Maybe these will be helpful?

The view designer might not display the actual data/filter immediately, try publishing the view and checking the changes through the model-driven app.

Views - Adding Column from a Related Table

Hello, I've carefully followed all the great advice here and successfully see the fields in the related tables section. That part is working as expected. However, despite the tables being properly imported and containing data, I’m not seeing any actual records in the view when I add the related fields.

Even after creating the view, saving and republishing, and repeatedly saving all customizations, the data still doesn't appear. Given that the tables themselves contain valid records, what could be causing the missing data in the view field?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The "ParkingRequestDateTime" column may not be appearing in the "Related" table section when creating a View for "Active Parking Inspections" because the relationship between "ParkingInspection" and "ParkingRequest" might not be correctly configured as "Searchable," or the column itself may not be set as "Searchable" within the "Parking Request" table.
