I have 400 Page Word/Pdf document upload in the knowledge in Copilot studio , I want citation link direct to the page where the answers of the query is present?
 
Any suggestions, how to implement it?

    Copilot Studio currently does not provide a native way to generate a clickable citation link that automatically opens a PDF or Word document at the exact page where the answer was found.
     
    You can get:
    • Source document citations
    • Quoted excerpts/snippets
    File references
     
    But not a built-in "Open PDF at Page 237" experience for uploaded knowledge files.
     
    For most Copilot Studio implementations, I recommend:
    • Storing documents in SharePoint.
    • Breaking very large documents into smaller topic-based files.
    • Using meaningful document names and folder structures.
    • Leveraging SharePoint links as citations.
    If your users must navigate directly to the exact page containing the answer, a custom Azure AI Search and Azure OpenAI-based Retrieval-Augmented
     
    Generation (RAG) solution is currently the most effective approach.
